Lowkey I love talking about music with other people and I love playing music/singing with other people, but I rarely have anyone to do that with. One of the biggest motivators for me to keep doing music is the fact that I can connect with other people through it. Like, one of my musician friends, who’s been a musician for longer than I’ve been alive, and used to be in+involved with a few bands, has legitimately told me that seeing how excited I was about music kind of caused him to get back into music when he was kind of drifting away from it. Now we talk about music and occasionally jam together. I really wish I had more people to jam with and have more in depth conversations with about music. Especially more around my age lol
Like I have friends who play instruments or sing (they’ve all got phenomenal voices) but it feels so hard to just find a good time to jam idk
Idk I just wish I had more people to talk to that are as hyped about actually making music as I am
