My cd collection

I'm gonna show off and yap about my cd collection a lil bit if theres anything interesting to say. As of now (if I counted correctly) I have 175 cds, there's still a few I want so I might be making an order soon... I sort them all alphabetically and then by release date for multiple by the same band. I get my cds from many different places: music stores where I live or where I travel to, thrift stores, amazon pre-owned (sellers like momox shop, rarewaves, etc), and lots were gifts.

Alexisonfire I got for free from this guy at my dad's old job because he felt bad for totalling the tailgate on my dad's new truck. All my free non-holiday gift cds are from that guy shoutout to him

I got the brain stem ones when I saw them in concert. It was a local show (they weren't but one of the bands playing was local) and normally I get to talk to the bands a little bit but I never got to talk to any of those guys, but I also got a tshirt and the guy at the table gave me a few free logo stickers. The singer ripped his hair out on stage though, interesting... I also got that black sabbath cd shortly after ozzy died so I'm kinda hoping the sunrise employee didn't think thats why I bought it. I mostly got it for wicked world since when I was taking guitar lessons my teacher was trying to teach me how to play it.

My candlemass cd I actually got at a bookoff in narita during my last day in japan! We went to a mall for like an hour and a half before going to the airport and I ended up finding it and a couple other cds. It's a japanese release so it has a separate music booklet with the lyrics in japanese translations.

Destroy my brains is a sludge/doom band that's local to me and their bassist helps run my local music store. His name is rob he's freaking awesome. I got the tormented cd when they played a show two years ago and I just got their new wilt cd last week, rob gave me on of their patches for free and let me take the other cheap cd I was buying for free. Listen to destroy my brains NOW. Also yes that's a signed dope cd I also got it at the music store for two bucks. I didn't know it was signed because it has a second lyric booklet in it that was at the front when I bought it, idk if the signature is real though.

The hole cd is like a promo single type of thing, honestly I'm not very sure I just saw it at my music store and decided to buy it. There's video tracks too but I've never tried to watch them.

I tried ordering a senile animal 3 times because they kept canceling my fucking order and it was so hard to find the cd for a decent price so it took me literally like a year to finally get. I cried when they canceled my the first time. Also my joe preston cd doesn't work for some reason but I'm not too bothered since it's just like ambient noise stuff. For the album cover of the mudvayne self titled you need to shine a blacklight over it to see the artwork and I think thats pretty cool.

The napalm death cd is one of the other ones I got in japan. It's also a japanese release with the translated booklet, and it also came with a big sticker that I'll put on my laptop someday. Honestly don't know if the signatures on the nothingface cd are real or not and I'm leaning more towards them being fake, but I don't really care because it was only 10 dollars and that's the cheapest I've found the cd.

Tonight the stars revolt was the last cd I got in japan, it's not a japanese release though it's american. I only spent like 3 bucks on it, I got it because I used to want it super bad in grade 9 but couldn't find it for cheap anywhere, so now I can say I have it after like 4 years.

I can't lie swallowing shit is probably one of my favourite bands ever. I bought the cd at the music store because of their name but they talk about important issues. And they do sound like shit but like the best shit.
