Hello! I hope you enjoy this. I’m going to talk a bit about the creative process behind one of my latest designs; without a doubt, it is the most complex drawing I’ve ever created—the piece that demanded the most artistic knowledge on my part!!

Use a variety of references—real photos, drawings, and even a sequined piece—to observe color tones, light and shadow, or simply to find inspiration. I also use some of them for the drawing's structure, such as the character's pose.

It took me four days to finish this piece; my hands were aching, and I drained every last drop of artistic knowledge from my brain—but it was worth it! I love the result; I had never created such a detailed drawing before.
