MY CUP SIZE ISNT EVEN BIG.

bro.

like no offence to people with small cup sizes, please don't think that I'm attacking you here, I promise I'm not. I actually envy you guys.

but

WHY ARE ALL CUTE CLOTHES MADE FOR A CUP PEOPLE?? I BARELY SEE ANYONE WITH A CUPS?? WHO ARE THESE CLOTHING COMPANIES MAKING THESE CLOTHES FOR?

I saw this cute tank top in superdry and I wanted to go try it on but when I put it on the straps folded weirdly in a way that I knew it was made for flat chested/tiny chested people. I was lowk pissed but didn't really care.

UNTIL.

I go to TK.MAXX, saw another cute shirt.. the cup size was too small. the shirt was a large.

I go to pull&bear the shirt just barely goes over my breasts and it looks like the buttons are going to come off any second. I got a large.

I go to Hollister. THE SHIRT WONT EVEN CLOSE PAST MY BOOBS. IM A C CUP. IM NOT EVEN LIKE A D CUP OR J OR WHATEVER MASSIVE CUP SIZE THAT EXISTS. IM A C?? DUDE. MY BREAST SIZE IS SO AVERAGE ITS NOT EVEN LARGE????

and its like, I'm struggling to find cute clothes for me that won't make me look like an old hippie (no offence to them, your style is cute but its not what I'm going for) grandma with sagging boobs. I want cute outfits like everyone else. BUT WHY ARE THESE SHIRTS MADE FOR A CUPS ONLY? emphasis on ONLY. I size up the shirt and THE CHEST AREA DOESNT EVEN GET ANY BIGGER.

TF? THIS ISNT FAIR??

and I'm struggling like this with my AVERAGE cup size! at least I can find bras that fit me. what about people who have a cup size over a D? literally like the only place where I see bras over D is m&s (not that m&s has bad bras, they're actually pretty good quality there). like tf. I'm also looking at other people as well as I've started to notice this epidemic of only tiny cup sizes in clothing - everyone's boobs kinda look the same size as mine. or larger. or just completely flat with like nothing there (they probably have similar struggles to us but not as bad. like most cute clothes would look fine on them but some which have an included like padding or whatever would look weird because they don't have anything to fill it with. also id imagine they'd struggle to find a bra for flat people - you might ask: well why would they need a bra if they don't have any boobs? to that, id say is so that they can cover their nipples. who would want their nipples to show through a shirt? not me. and so finding a bra that does that would highkey be pretty hard. I don't think I've actually seen something line that tbf).

WHO ON EARTH IS AN A CUP? IS THERE REALLY THAT BIG OF A CONSUMER BASE THAT CLOTHING COMPANIES HAVE DECIDED THAT THEY'LL ONLY CATER TO THEM?? THATS NOT FAIRRRR

and don't tell me to just go to other shops where they do sell clothing that suites my cup size because like I have gone around to have a look, but they don't really sell the style or aesthetic of clothes that I like or want. once again, m&s does have some nice clothes, they're inclusive in size ranges (body and cup) but like.. those clothes are cute on my mum. I'm 16. I don't want to wear a yellow, ankle length, maxi dress with a square neckline with massive white flower prints on them. like its cute, I like the yellow.. but that's something my mum would wear on holiday to an all inclusive stay at the beach in Antalya, Turkey.

not really the aesthetic I'm going for.

anyway thanks for listening to my rant <33

Kudos: 3

As an A cup, you're kind of right, but not quite. The problem with fashion brands is they assume the cup size is directly proportional to weight. So, if you need a larger size, your cup will be bigger too, which is just not true. We need better size diversity in general
