My drum setup :3

HIII this is my drum setup in way too much detail

first of all ima talk about snares bc i have SOOOO many

here we go

my favourite drum is a 13x6 Tama superstar (i believe maple or birch) its got black nickel hardware and i drew all over it with a red posca it sounds AMAZING

my most recent addition is a Pearl Primal Series aluminium 13x7 (also sounds great), it took me a while to get it into a spot i REALLY liked, im still not completely sure abt it, a drum is a drum lol

cheapest snare (i recommend this snare to ANYONE just starting out or have been playing drums for ages, its super versatile) is a PDP piccolo steel, the new releases are called The Kraken, which is an EPIC name but theyve made them for ages and lowk just looking secondhand for any piccolo drum is a good bet theyre all great

the only 14" drum i regularly use is a Pearl Sensitone steel 14x5.5, does what it says on the tin... but its made of steel

i have a FEW other snare drums, but i dont use them since they are either so broken theyre unusable or a work in progress,

I do like steel snare drums the most, i theyre way cheaper than most other materials and its pretty hard to get them to sound bad

theyre in this black finish thats kinda scratched looking with fucked up black nickel hardware, tube lugs etc (its sick) i also attacked it with a red posca so its got butterflies and flames on it lol

I also have some old stage custom toms, the ones with tube lugs too, but theyre red haha

20" Paiste 2002 ride (a bit heavy for me, i like to beat the shit out of my cymbals lol)

20" Pst7 Light Ride (using as my right side crash rn, also a great ride)

20" OLD Paiste 2002 China Type (this thing is BROOTAL, it was the first nice cymbal i had, it was given to me its sick asf)

19" Signature Dark Energy Crash (omg this is my baby, i took a bit out of it bc i got hungry, its real thin, great for rlly airy shit and jazz)

18" Sabian AAX Vcrash (just an all round great crash)

(i have a BUNCH more shitty old cymbals 4 stuff like stacks)

OOOHHH and my hihats

theyre a pst 7 light bottom hat 14"

and this rlly old Headliner 7K hihat (theyre like meinl but old)

theyre like the holy grail of hihats

also drumhead wise, most big brand drumheads u cant recycle, which is a problem.
