Hi! I'm new to Friend Rewind and this is my very first time writing a blog post. I'm really liking this website so far.
To be honest, I didn't get to experience the internet era that inspires this place, and I'm not really one of those people who miss a time they never lived through. I just ended up here because I was getting a bit tired of all these modern, fast-dopamine social media platforms. I mean, I like them, and I have a great time scrolling through Instagram, but I don't know... I found this place and I think it feels friendlier, and more... I don't know how to put it, more human. It's not commercial; it feels like a social network that actually belongs to the people. I guess that's why so many people miss the old internet, but anyway, I don't want to bore anyone with this haha.
From now on, my plan is to post blogs about the things I like: less commercial or "weird" cinema, and maybe share some of the stuff I make (purely amateur, of course) like my writings or drawings. If anyone knows about these topics or wants to share their thoughts, I'd be happy to hear how I can improve!
So, if anyone shares these interests or just wants to chat for a bit, welcome to my profile!

True. I like reading people's thoughts... TRUE thoughts and not word vomit put up together for engagement. I feel as if we're actually connecting somehow, and you're letting me get a snippet inside your head. I like how detailed the profiles are, and how you can really see how a person wants to present themselves as. I like seeing full bios and a comprehensive list of interests and dislikes. Unlike in modern social media where mostly everything is minimalistic (since you cant really do anything else) social websites like these are refreshing.
