My first ever blog (rant abt bmth)

Uh so I’m only making this a blog because I don’t want it to disappear.

So I really love bmth, my friends all know this. This is also how I become like best friends with my best friend Max (hii), and bmth has helped me in many ways. BMTH is a band that I grew up with, and now they’re literally ALL I listen to. I love all their albums, except for maybe Music to Listen to….interesting album. Other than that, I love all their albums others a bunch and they all hold a type of purpose in my heart. I’ve seen them live twice, and  plan to see them as many more times as I can, especially with Max. I don’t care about which albums you hate from them, because I love them all, WHICH INCLUDES THEIR POST HUMAN ALBUMS. I don’t care, I love them so much. It may be different than what Count Your Blessings (original and repented) is, but I actually LIKE the fact that they tried to experiment and do things differently than what they started off with. I hate that others trash talk their newer shit, only because it’s “different”. No shit it’s different, it was a whole other era for them. Oli’s vocals were still AMAZING, And I could still feel the emotion in all the songs. Many people also chose to hate on CYB Repented, which at that point, stfu. So many people hated when they decided to change to what they were doing for post human, or really anything after There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret (I felt like typing it all out). I fear these people need to accept that the original CYB wasn’t mixed properly and it was just some stupid shit they all made as teens/young adults. Since there now around in their 40s, they’re gonna sound WAY different than what they sounded like, especially from their EP, This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For. I’ve come to find out that not everyone knows about that ep?….anyway, bmth is highly influential to many bands, such as bad omens. I’ve heard bad omens was influenced by BMTH, more or so in their Sempiternal era, which is still a favorite for me.

Anyway, I could go on and on about them, but I know some people are probably gonna try and correct me for any of the things I say or be defensive, but oh well. Maybe they won’t, but I’m just preparing myself just in case. Keep in mind, I am still learning more and more about them (I still know more than your average fan), so my info may not always be 100% correct. Don't be afraid to give feedback, just make sure it sounds as nice as possible even if it’s negative because it just helps me and all that. Anyway, thanks for reading my first blog:)
