My first "paranormal" experience

When I was 4 my bedroom was haunted. Sometimes I could see the silhouette of a kid that would rattle the toys on my shelf. It was like a shadow, but more solid dark black and you could tell that it was not a shadow. Most nights I would need to vacate that room and sleep in the living room. Even my dad tried sleeping by himself in my room, to prove that it wasn't scary, but he had such intense dreams that he also knew to fear that room. Sometimes when my parents were in the living room, they would see a third kid standing at the beginning of the hallway that wasn't me nor my brother and he would always turn and vanish. When we moved out of that house, we asked him to go to the light and move on.

When I was 4, I had a visionary dream about the end of humanity, even though I hadn't seen any intense movies; and to this day my dream is still more intense and scary than any movie. In the dream, there were these little robotic grasshoppers, about 3 inches long. They were creepy because they were just all one solid tan color and had glowing red eyes. These stupid little robots were swarming the earth, nobody knew where they were coming from, but people were saying they came from space and they were killing off all humankind. It felt like it was going on for several days, where my family and I were trying to survive this apocalypse situation, while the small robots kept appearing in more and more places, just killing everybody. I didn't know anything about biblical apocalypse or whatever because my parents were very anti-religion. But later in life I heard the story of the "swarm of locusts" in the bible and it sounded like my dream.

I had some other really weird, but oddly chill, dreams about humans actually being demons when I was 4 even though I didn't know any religion or movies - like, I wasn't allowed to watch anything but Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street and we only had like 5 channels and I was never left unattended with a TV... though I'll admit that it's possible that I saw some kind of weird movie about demons but I like to think that it came to me in dreams without any other influence. The funny thing is, I never believed in demons and I still don't, so maybe it was saying that demons don't exist outside of human indecency.
