My furry stinky!

More about the lil goober, my dawggg (got a full photo album for him on my prof- duh!) !!

He's a black lab and corgi mix and we saved him from Poland when a fake (illegal) shelter got busted. He's partially blind and deaf and since even before that he was a stray and likely abused/hit, he never properly learned how to "play like a dog", however he LOOOVES cuddles, walks where he can run free and frequent naps. He was actin out during walks (barking n trying to lunge) at first- didn't trust neither other dogs nor ppl (especially men, he had a fear/specific associations with belts also so that could be potentially why :'( ), often out of fear, until we socialised him bit by bit. He's still wary of larger dogs and cats to an extent, but seeing him gradually trust more humans and even attempt to play/be social with other dogs was the greatest joy ever :D ! That said he does get overwhelmed a bunch when a lot is going on at once; me too buddy, me too 🐾.

 One of his quirks (no idea how he learned it as it wasn't taught to him specifically like other classic commands) is that whenever someone starts singing a bit too enthusiastically and maybe moving in place while they do so excitedly, he gets very pumped up and yaps. He does that whilst stretching/crawling w his short back paws spread on the floor, jumping up, giving paw and spinning in circles as he has taken that as a sign to groove and he actively responds to the moves by syncing his (e.g. is he sees u twirling around he will too, if u pull your legs apart a bit n gesture him he will dip under to the other side as a coordinated "dance move"). He will expect u to hold his front paws while he stands and jig with him back and forth with the biggest, silliest doggy grin :3. He's the only fam pet of ours that have loved dressing up as much as he does (I included sum seasonal outfits, though he also has his adorable rain coat and a reflective harness that lights up in the dark).
