My honest opinions on all the Gorillaz Albums

Hihihi!! Uhh I’ll just be saying my honest opinions on the Gorillaz albums. Gyulp don’t slime me out

Self-Titled (Gorillaz)

I adore s/t, I think most of the songs are really good but I do think Clint Eastwood is a tad overrated? I mean it’s a good song but there are better ones, like Rock the house or Tomorrow comes today (imo). Though I do think this was a great album it has bangers like 19/2000, gravity, rock the house, etc

Favourite song: rock the house 

Least favourite: Man Research prob

Demon days

Eeeehhhhh.. it’s not my FAVOURITE, I’ll admit, it has such good songs like I’m bumping to DARE every single day and Feel Good Inc is amazing, although both are overrated. I just didn’t really hit with this one as some of the songs, AKA o green world, were hyped up so I had high hopes but I just didn’t enjoy them.

Favourite: El Manana or Dirty Harry

Least favourite: o green world

Plastic Beach

Again, it’s not my favourite but I still like them, this might be biased as I like the lore and cyborg noodle is my favourite character out of all of the lore (surprise surprise it’s not Murdoc). They did have Stylo and Pirate Jet though so I can’t blame them. OH and rhinestone eyes and melancholy hill lowk forgot about those my b

Least favourite: welcome to plastic beach?? Maybe?

The fall

Uhh I haven’t listened to the entirety of the fall yet, though from what I have heard I’ve only like one song </3

Favourite: Revolving doors

Least favourite: lit any one that’s just instrumental

Humanz

I do NOT get the Humanz slander, at first I was all against Humanz but now I love it. It’s genuinely such a good album and has multiple hits, strobe light, sleeping powder (idk if that counts but shhhh), charger, she’s my collar

Favourite: Strobelight (Sleeping powder if it’s allowed)

Least favourite: GYULLLP Saturnz bars

The now now

I love the now now, you love the now now. It’s gen such a good album I love it so much. Although would’ve profited from more Murdoc. I miss him during that album. I could go on and on about how much I love this album

Favourite: I love almost all the ones in here

Least fav: I actually don’t know tbf

Song machine

I love this album but I feel like I make it seem better than it is. I only really like a handful of the songs but those songs hit HARD to me. Specifically Aries and Pac-man I love.

Least favourite: strange timez?

Cracker Island

Genuinely one of my favourites aside from The Now Now. I loved almost every single one of these songs apart from two. These songs go round in my headphones many times. Some people say the lore wasn’t as good that, I’ll admit, they are a bit correct but still! I thought it was decent enough for a pass but this isn’t about the lore.

Favourite: New gold?

Least favourite: Tormenta

The mountain

Last but not least, The Mountain, I like this album although a few songs just didn’t click with me. That might just because I usually like Gorillaz songs that are very different but I still really enjoyed the album! It was very great to see live lolz
