My nightly routine

my favourite part of the night is just before I go to bed.

I have two cats, an indoor cat and an outdoor cat. my outdoor cat gets let out around 6pm and we bring him in whenever I go to bed, which tends to be around 2 or 3am (dont worry he doesn't mind being out for hours at a time any earlier and he will have complaints)

I live on the third floor of a small flat, so every night before bed I go to my living room window to shout on him. I hear him squeaking as he does letting me know he hears me and is on his way home.

now if you're from the UK, Scotland specifically theres a song that reminds me of this routine. the jeely pieces song. so shouting for him always reminds me of primary school and that song, granted im no throwing a jeely piece out the window, im shouting for my wee kitten to come home now the street lights are on.

i dont really have a point to this blog except really appreciating this small routine I have with him and the memories It brings back from primary school in Scotland. 

anyway now that my cat is home safe n sound im ready to go to sleep. goodnight winders
