ok so i watched it so that i could form an actual opinion, and tbh it’s overhated. was it a good movie in my opinion? no. BUT that doesn’t mean i have to go online and make corny hate posts about it. I think if this movie had come out a few years ago, it would’ve been a hit with a lot of people online. i didn’t like the movie at all (but the cis white maliens were funny asf) but at least we’re getting more queer media. yall know how many corny films there are out there about straight couples? a lot. as long as there’s some form of rep, it’s a step in the right direction.

TRUEEEE when i went into it, i was expecting it to be a lot worse than it actually even was! i feel like people are exaggerating just how bad it actually is to be funny and fit in with the popular opinion....also the whole "fandoms coming together to hate" was so wack. I do think its funny how the antagonists were somehow the best characters in the movie tho and i liked the ship too whatever its name was...but ya its just a dumb movie at worst 4 me tbh
