my quest for Aletheia

long ass blog as my first ever blog, HI EVERYONE ILL JUST RANT A LITTLE ABOUT AN EXPERIENCE OF MINE REGARDING MUSIC

everything started in summer of 2025, when thanks to a friend i discovered Izi, this italian rapper that at the time was one of her favorites. she suggested me to check out this album of his called Aletheia (which if you like rap i REALLY recommend) which ended up being my favorite concept album and album in general. 

anyway, i have a CD collection, i have a bunch of cds of albums that i like of any genre, and last month i wanted to expand it, so i started to look around for other albums that i liked. so far i managed to get Tutti i nomi del diavolo by Yugi, Santissimo by Sayf, and i managed to bribe my cousin to gift me The Open Door by Evanescence. and then came Aletheia. 

so izi hasn't dropped anything in 6 years which SUCKS, and so his vinyls and cds are extremely rare. anytime i went into that store to look for it i would be met with nothing just to find out that the STOPPED PRODUCING THEM. i sigh and then decide to try out vinted

it was my first time ever and the offers were insane. im talking 500€ worth of vinyls UNTIL i found a cd in perfect conditions for a reasonable price. I thought i won. FINALLY. AND THEN SOME MF BOUGHT IT BEFORE ME. i kid you not i was so mad at myself for not buying it first T. T

however there is light at the end of the tunnel. and that light is called my dear friend Alice (thank you alice) that found it on accident on discount at another store. we made an exchange, i got her a cd of her choice and them we exchanged gifts and FINALLY. THAT ALBUM WAS IN MY HANDS. 

the only side note about all of this is that an album that is this good was on discount in the same pile of cds as 2010s mediocre pop albums off of talent shows. that album deserves so much more recognition I'm not even kidding.
