(long Blog entry)
I truly don't understand how my manager is a manager!
He is Anabel to plan anything, like our holidays. (You have to know that we plan our own holidays, but we plan it on paper, but he has to put it into our app.)
I reminded him that I will be off for a week before my midterm, he agreed and wrote it down for a second time. Yet when the week came closer he still hadn't booked me holiday in the app, and when I asked about it, he told me “sorry, but you have to understand that we do need you here and also XY will also be on holiday. So I fear you will have to rebook.". Now see I had not planned to go anywhere, but I don't think that it is my job to check if I will be the only one that will be on holiday. Besides he got 78 employees, so I don't think it will be a big deal if two of them are gone at the same time.
He also can't explain for the life of him, he is like that teacher that expects you to read their mind and understand the topic immediately. And he changes his mind like every two minutes.
I will be so happy when I finally get out of this hell!🤩

it seems like your manager needs to talk to your work HQ BOSS or whatever is at the top on getting a new app for the business so you guys can do request for time off. This seems so unprofessional and tbh, your manager should be more secure about their position since you have to do it all on paper...
