my thoughts on possession 1981 remake

okay so we all know about the possession 1981 remake. but i have been scrolling on tiktok to find everyone hating on it, saying "its not even going to be good" or "it doesnt need a remake". while yes i agree that possession doesnt need a remake, what movie really even needs a remake or a 2nd one? people just like to find reasons to dislike a movie, when it hasnt even came out yet. but when it does you know that those people hating are going to be in the theaters watching it, rating it on letterboxd saying "how it was so good". so i just think that people should stop hating on movies before theyve even been put out. like come on now.
