My work crush

So basically I volunteer/ work at a zoo, I have a co worker that I have a massive crush on. The thing is idk how old he is, if he's single, or if he even likes me. It's hard to tell because he has some facial hair so he could be between 20-32. My limit is capped off at 23. He works with the reptiles, I work with armillios and small monkeys. But we are commonly in the same building. I so sit near him in the morning where the employees gather. Like, I want him so bad but I don't have very high hopes for it. He loves snakes, horror movies, halloween, all just like me. He has my humor. He's a really nice and good guy. I'm just get nervous to talk to him and I'm scared to ask for his number because I don't wanna ask in front of people and I feel weird asking his age and it's kind of odd to ask if he's single. Idk, we have had small talk back and forth, joked together, he's caught me looking at him and I'm not sure but maybe the other way around too. I'm not asking for advice, I'm just ranting because I'm a hopeless romantic who's single as fuck. I'll let you guys know if I end up dateing him, it's probably a slim chance but I'll be praying to Jesus in hopes it works out.
