Need advice on hair

I want to learn how to cut hair. Last week I cut my hair three times and now it's short. I really like how it came out and I did it myself with ny brothers occasionally guidance. He doesn't know how to cut hair but he's a fast learner and prodigy. I was looking at myself in the mirror and want to cut my hair again this time like mizi's rebel hair from alien stage but I'm not that advanced yet nor do I have the right supplies other than regular scissors. Anyone a hair stylist or been cutting your own hair for years? Can I get some advice on how to learn with just regular scissors? Or do I need the professional scissors?
