I've wanted to talk more about my passions, and honestly I'm just using this as a diary.

I am really passionate about Entomology, and Zoology. I kinda always been scared of animals, but ever since last year I haven't. I've volunteered at the pet shop my aunt works in, and it was so fun, I thinks thats about when my passion for insecnts started.

I know spiders aren't insects, they fall under a specific category - Araneae, which is broken down into over 139 different families globally. In total, taxonomists have recorded more than 53,600 individual spider species across these families. Anyways, I felt obliged to mention spiders, since my friend's brother has a pink tarantula, and she is the cutest thing ever.

I really wanna work at an university as an Entomologist or any kind of full time scientist thats when my work will be completed.

So i wanna talk about my favourite catagory in the family Insecta, - Lepidoptera.

Lapidoptera is literally butterflies and moths, I've recently found out that all butterflies are moths, but not all moths are butterflies, which i find super interesting.

I posted a picuture of a butterfly that was in my hand, i dont remember if it was dead or alive, but anyways -

This is so oversaid and overused, but i fell the need to mention it - butterflies drink blood when given the opportunity, often lap up on roadkill and open wounds.

There are like over 160 000 species of moths. Adult moths dont have mouths, meaning they cant eat and in the 1 - 4 week life span their only goal is to mate as much as possible. The biggest moth has a wingspam of 12 inches (30 cm),  a male moth can smell a female over 7 miles (a little over 1.6 km) away. Moths can make squaking sounds so bats avoid eating them !

Goodnight, stay lovely. <3
