i can’t really be talking since i’m neurodivergent myself but i’m more validated compared to the people im gonna talk about which seems to mostly be the some of the autism fandom , but ive been itching to talk about this
like if your talking to someone and they say “i had pizza at dominos and it really good and filling” why would you respond with “well i had pizza at little caesers and it was SUPER good and SUPER filling” and then act surprised when they don’t fw you after ?? like now it sounds like you’re just trying to one up people 😭
and i get that autistics aren’t very good at socializing bc of their weird responses or smth but we have to learn at some point that when talking to a person with a literal different mindset then you , you kinda have to adjust to them since in general they are seen as more valuable (?? idk a better word) then you and usually have more influence then you because you’re seen as the type of person to watch ethan’s clubhouse and wtv else
but in that situation a lot of people seem to say that neurotypicals have to many rules / expectations .. like i’d assume they would ?? why wouldn’t they ?? 😭😭
gen question but like why do autistics stim ? my friends brother gets really loud when he does it and he like jumps or does sum weird shit idk and half the time nothing will be happening why r u doing that

"autistics" and expecting ppl with brains that function differently than most other people to know social rules... like yea obviously theyd know of their existence but how are they supposed to know what they are?? you yourself as a neurodivergent person should know how harmful it is to assume people just naturally understand everything about social cues
and calling autism a fandom?? like wtf??? its not like a fanbase or something its something people actually struggle with.
also instead of getting mad at your brother for stimming over "nothing", do some research on what stimming actually is.

"why do autistics stim" good job referring to people as objects by the way. stimming is a way of providing comfort or uhm you know...STIMULATING someone emotions.
the reason people with autism may seem to one up people is because they may be trying to relate to the person talking. sure some people may be trying to one up them but they arent. and if a real mature person had a problem with it they would SAY SOMETHING.
