new shoes!!

hey guys!! first blog post on here! prob gonna talk about random stuff lol so don't expect a lot.

yesterday i FINALLY got new shoes after my parents have put it off for ages, and i'm super happy with them! :D

i got the DVS Enduro Heir, my first pair of DVS shoes. i had been needing to get new shoes because my current ones were essentially falling apart, and were starting to get too tight. i also just needed a pair of skate shoes because my beat up adidas weren't cutting it xD

what i like about these shoes (compared to my first option, the etnies kingpin) is that they have a chunky silhouette, but aren't too boring looking. i've heard they're pretty durable and a good option for skating if any of u guys skate! 

one thing i might consider changing is the laces. don't get me wrong, the laces are fine; there's nothing inherently wrong with them, but they're just not my style. i think i'm gonna replace the laces with some fat laces to complement the chunkiness of the shoes and the rest of my style .'-)  

speaking of my style, do be warned that chunky shoes like these don't look good with everything. a problem i've ran into is my main pair of jeans is tapered at the leg opening, causing the jeans to look weird with the shoes. if you're getting these shoes, i recommend getting jeans or pants that compliment the silhouette, not fight it. that could mean baggier jeans that don't taper, baggy jorts (which i think looks cool,) mainly baggy pants / shorts tbh
