Nicknames

Just saw a tiktok of a person talking about which nicknames they dislike and I immediately knew mommy/daddy would be brought up in the comments. Understandably so, it is strange to refer to your partner in the same way a child would their parent. But people who hate those nicknames should also hate baby. The same logic applies does it not? Calling your partner baby is just as weird if not weirder than mommy/daddy. Maybe it's just a me thing, but it's odd that nobody has pointed it out before.
