No Ronaldo, no Messi...

What's the point...

Preface: I am a Ronaldo fan. But I also liked Messi. 

With both Messi and Ronaldo eliminated from the world cup series, I and many fans feel every world cup to come in the future is useless to watch without these legends. Regardless of who's team you were on or even if you hate both of them, it goes without saying that they are the most unique of all teammates and have contributed to FIFA history both with amazing record-breaking matches. Beyond the games, both Messi and Ronaldo experienced a challenging upbringing and rose to their success with incredible hard work and determination. It's depressing that both of them are gone now. 

Sure, the other team members are talented too. But they will never be Ronaldo or Messi. I'm honestly heartbroken that both of them were eliminated in the same year. Shit. 

This is the end of an era for them and for us. 💔
