Nobody is unique anymore!!

So yesterday I was looking on Facebook for photos of my sister in high school and like she was so uniquely emo yk?? Like it was its own thing and she didn’t look the same as everyone else at that time, not even the most emos. I’m thinking about how now in my town so many people are emo but like they ALL only wear affliction shirts and baggy pants. Like I’m not trying to be mean but I’m genuinely being completely serious and not exaggerating when I say that all the emo kids have basically the same outfit. I don’t know when the big shift came and when affliction became the only brand but like can we stop. I was at a 4th of July thing in my town and ALL the emo boys were wearing affliction and that’s all they wear. Like I understand it’s a good brand but can we branch out just a bit…
