Obsession (the movie)

Possible spoilers. Also, mentions of sexual assault. 

I watched this movie and it made me really uncomfortable. The whole not being able to control your own body thing scares me, so I guess that was creepy, but it was just such a weird movie. 

I did not like how bear was trying so hard to keep what he had with Nikki... (I think that was her name.) It was gross, I think that the whole movie was an analogy for rape/abusive relationships/codependency(?? Idk if that's the right word in this case, bc Nikki was the more 'dependent' one.) I genuinely SERIOUSLY think it was extremely strange to blatantly show that rape scene instead of just implying what happened, I think that those are two different things. I am 50/50 on the movie personally... I didn't hate it but I didn't like it. 

One more thing, I think it was really weird that some of the way that the movie was written was kind of trying to get you to feel bad for bear? Maybe I'm wrong about this but that's how it felt for some of the scenes. I don't mean the cat dying because we didn't really know that bear was the villain until later in the movie, but there were lots of other scenes that were written and shot that way. 

My personal rating is a 3/10...... So yeahhhhhhh that's it. Let me know what you guys thought if you want.
