odd crushes

so people actually have crushes on people they can't like actually date???? like i've heard of celebrity crushes but i thought those were fake or atleast exagarated but then i learned people also have crushes on teachers????

why would you have a crush on a teacher???? they're nice and all but a crush?on a teacher?why????

i dunno,it might just be me thats never had one of these types crushes,or any for that fact,but it seems so odd to me,between the age gap and power imbalance its an odd mix.

even when i was younger i didn't understand the idea of celebrity crushes.and now i don't understand teacher crushes,i hadn't even heard of that concept till pretty recently and then my shock when finding out it actually happens????
