YES YES FINALLY YEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY MOM IS TAKING ME TO SEPHORA AT THE END OF THE MONTH!!!!

This is a big deal because my make prior to this has always been pretty…well nonexistent.

Yeah I’ll admit it, I’ve been balls deep in the gyaru culture and community since I believe 9th grade, but I was merely an enthusiast. I had tried asking for makeup last birthday but my mom just flat out refused so I had to resort to once in a while using my friends stuff like some product deficient Victorian child. Except things are different now, I’m the big 1-6. I’m turning 16 in August, baby.

Determined to get what is owed to me, I wrote it once more on my b-day list. Honestly I didn’t know if she’d say yes or no, it could go either way really. My worries were put to rest tonight when I was eating as per habit in the dining hall and out comes my mom telling me that at the end of the month we are gonna go to sephora!!For makeup!!!!

I’m so happy, not even just for the make but to be one step closer to my true self, you know? Gaining more autonomy in my appearance and swag through makeup artistry. Plus makeup is a very prominent part of a majority of the cultures and subcultures I’m a part of. So getting to soon interact with that aspect is so exciting. I am aware that my joy is a little much but guys you don’t get it this is an IMPORTANT milestone in my existence okay let me have my moment.

And yeah, I just wanted to blow out my thoughts confetti style just for the heck of it.
