So, most people know the song It's Just a Burning Memory but most people don't know that that song is completely sampled. The song that It's Just a Burning Memory is sampled from is called Heartaches by Al Bowlly. Al Bowlly is one of my favorite music artists and it's a little sad to see that the Caretaker basically takes credit for a song that you can barely even call his. Many of the Caretakers songs are sampled from Al Bowlly's. The only recognition that Al Bowlly gets are from his 12 fans and in the Shining. Not to mention that his song My Woman has been sampled many times and he doesn't get much recognition for that song as well. Most people think that the song Your Woman by White Town isn't sampled. I did rant about this on my TikTok but I wanted to rant here because I think it's stupid.
