Omnium's Song OTD [3] - Sydney

Hello, and welcome to Omnium's Song OTD! 

Today is pathfinder day! So this one is a song that played recently in that :) Very excited to share, hope you all enjoy!!

On with the show!

This song played last Bplot of our pathfinder 2e campaign. Its a bit of a long story. I need to start by explaining what fracture crystals are. They are sentient stones that feed and grow off of the emotions and memories of those with souls. They are parasites. They can attach themselves to a person, and when threatened can open a rift in space to a pocket dimension type world built on the emotions and memories it consumed. The more traumatized or emotional a person is, the more likely fractures are to attach to someone, and the more powerful they become.

The session before last we had our house raided, and it was a bit too much ontop of everything for two of our party members. That night, Countess Aurelia and Orion Couture attempted to take their lives. We didn't know they were fractured, and thus their attempts caused the fractures to open and we had to team up with the BBEG and his minions to get them back. So then last session, we split into two teams to retrieve back our teammates. We succeeded in saving Orion, however, team Aurelia was not so lucky. She sacrificed herself one last time to save her friends and died that night. 

This song played when they completed the fracture and exited the rift and my character, Oscar (party sunshine child-type character) saw her body. He's the group healer and has alot on his shoulders for someone his age. He felt terrible. I had a lot of fun roleplaying breaking down at the sight. 

Below is a few drawings from that session, we played for 10 hours. It was incredible. I didn't get to bed until like 3am haha!

Anyway! If you skipped the story, I don't blame you! Our group loves our trauma roleplay, and I adore playing Ozzie. I'd be willing to get the clip of me sobbing in character if anyone's interested.. it was very very fun.
