Personal Website Blurb (cross-posted from SpaceHey, April 2026)

I haven't written up a blog in a while... if I want to be actually social on this social media I should really put my back into it more and actually talk about stuff I want to talk about. So erm... here you go! A brief blurb about my personal website!

dwinterwolf.nekoweb.org

THIS BLOG WAS WRITTEN ON PC, AND IS NOT OPTIMISED FOR MOBILE!

Ayup, that's it - my personal website! It is under very heavy construction and still in its infancy stages thanks to my procrastination, but I've been making more progress as of late! As you can see, I've chosen to host it on Nekoweb, and honestly I'm quite glad I did, apparently Neocities restricts what kinds of files you can upload on the free tier, which wouldn't be very good as I have some .otf and .ttf font files on the site's server... what else do I put for this paragraph?

My plans have changed a couple of times throughout the course of the website's lifespan for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I was potentially planning on perhaps having some videos on one of my pages, because I find them quite fun to make on the odd occasion! Unfortunately all my previous YouTube videos (I deleted the email associated with that channel) were lost in a botched file transferral during an OS upgrade on this laptop, which I'm a little sad about, but they weren't that important, so it's not that big of a deal in my opinion. I'm still deciding on whether I actually want to go ahead with making those new videos, since the plan was to have them accompany blog posts and give people the option of either just reading the post or watching the video... also I want to dip my toes into animation memes after doing anything but that for the past 6 years... but I decided to drop my website's blog page altogether in favour of just posting stuff here, haha! What'll probably end up happening is I'll blog here, and I'll just put the RSS link somewhere on the site.

Another thing is the slight modification of how the OC pages are going to work, specifically regarding Amushana (don't bother looking it up, it's my own thing, all you'll come up with that's even mildly relevant is some 6-year-old Wattpad book pages explaining what I now refer to as "Beta Amushana" thanks to the massive overhaul I'm in the very slow process of giving that world and its characters)! Initially there was going to be a Creations tab where you'd be able to check the OC main page (where I'd list OCs I've made over the years for various IPs or that are even just their own thing outside of Amushana) and the Amushana page, which would have world information, a timeline of events etc., but I decided to get rid of that tab and have the OC page be its own independent thing in the navigation bar. I'll be adding proper information for each OC in time, but when exactly I don't know. Now Amushana has two dedicated pages so far (...which have nothing on them so far, oops), Timeline of Events and Worldbuilding! I expect I'll be splitting Worldbuilding into separate segments (or even pages if it gets complex enough) because of the 40,000 year timeskip between the main events of the story and the important stuff that happened when the three sisters were still quite young, but we'll see what happens.

As of now the About Me contains quite a lot of lore stuff pertaining to December Winterwolf, my dear fursona who has been with me since the 22nd of November 2019 (for context that was the opening night of Frozen II in UK cinemas), and with two attempts at creating lore for her, it's... quite long, especially since I delve into Robin's lore as it's relevant to the new December lore (lore squared, as I like to refer to it), but once the OC page is properly fleshed out I'll put my fursona lore there and put more information about myself in the actual About Me page. Interests is going to be structured similarly to the OC page, except it'll include stuff like the videogames I liked playing, the books I enjoyed reading, and other stuff I find cool, as well as a little blurb for each one and a square thumbnail image custom-drawn by me... yikes, this is going to take a while, LOL!

The Links page is already explained in its own contents, just links to my socials and other websites I find cool, but I have a fun idea for an April Fools prank when the website's actually finished. It'll probably be somewhat easy to guess considering the name of the page, but I look forward to actually pulling it off when the site is ready!

Right, I think I've rambled enough for today, it's about time to release this to the public... toodles!
