If we're talking smartphones, then I definitely think I could manage without it for a few months. I have an alarm clock, my SIM is in a Nokia, and I can access WhatsApp and Signal from my laptop. The only thing I'd be missing is my 2FA for one singular website and my BeReal streak.

If we're talking all phones altogether, alas I would not be able to do that so easily, especially since I need to check my Nokia every single time I try to log into my banking website. My mother would also probably become quite worried if I didn't answer her calls or texts if I'm travelling a longer-than-usual, she likes to know if I got to my destination safely, and who am I to deny her that information?

I've thought about this a lot and I rlly wanna do a detox like this, but making that switch can be pretty hard. I think there's a few parts of my life that I could switch to more physical, like I don't NEED to stream music when theres many other ways of getting music. Things like my notes app or my camera app I could easily just.. use a notebook or sticky notes, and like I HAVE an actual camera.

There's many things that can be done off the phone that I recognize.. but again making that switch is hard for me aghh

I mean, I've been using a flip phone for going on 3 years now, and it's helped tremendously. Biggest thing is to identify all the areas you actually need your phone in your day to day life and then find a substitute (I firmly believe that if you're creative enough, you'll find a way).
