Pray on your downfall

Pray on your downfall

Nov 3 2026

—--------------------------------------------------

You delude yourself

With thoughts of an afterlife

With the false reassurance

That there will be something “after” this

The lie consumes you,

Forsaking this life

For the next

In hopes of gaining something greater

Than you are

You cry out in reverence

For salvation

From this Desolate plain

Not knowing that the world cares Not for your loyalty

That there is no reward for passiveness

That death cares not that you were rich

Or that you were poor

Only that you are alive

And therefore will be dead

You pray for change

For retribution

For love

For hate

Not knowing

That the only ears your prayers Fall on

are your own
