If you can mod it for online, definitely look into Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Ops +. SaveMGO recently got Ops and Ops+ infrastructure mode working, so players can play online, though you do need a modded console and a way to mount plugins. But its super easy to do, and the guide on github helps you through it. Join the SaveMGO discord too if you need help and want to know when games are going on. As for other games, MGS Peace Walker is good (get an adhoc plugin that makes it online too), Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, and the Kurohyo 1+2 English patched versions if you like the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series.
