ever since the backrooms movie got released, the song “ulterior motives” has been stuck in my head. the lore behind the song is what i call kind of shocking...? for years, people were trying to identify this mysterious track after a short snippet was uploaded on watzatsong.com by a user who goes by the name carl. nobody knew who made it or where it came from at first, then it turned out the song was used in the background of an obscure 18+ movie from the 1980s (obviously i am not sharing what movie) if it weren't for some random guy watching that movie and uploading a clip 5 years ago, the song might've remained lost media 🤓
