Ranking EVERY A Day to Remember (ADTR) Album!

Hello, people of Earth!

Welcome to another album ranking, and this time I'm ranking EVERY single ADTR album!

Disclaimer: This is simply my opinion, so please don't be offended if your opinion is different from mine.

Also, I won't be ranking Old Record (2008) or For Those Who Have Heart (2023) because they are simply remakes of older albums, and I want to keep the ranking simple :D

8. You're Welcome (2021)

Now I absolutely believe that ADTR is such a talented band, and this album has its high points, but unfortunately the rest of it isn't as good compared to what they did before its release and after. You have heavy songs reminiscent of their older sound, like Last Chance to Dance, but the rest of the album leans into a commercial-friendly, radio rock sound that really sounds different.

I don't mean to be critical; in fact, bands changing their sound and evolving is a good thing, but the record simply isn't my cup of tea. It's not a bad record by any means, but it doesn't compare to the other records the band has released, in my opinion. But other than that, this album is pretty solid!

Favorite Song: Degenerates

7. And Their Name Was Treason (2005)

For a first record, And Their Name Was Treason felt very authentic because of its unpolished feel. It has a charm that makes it stand out from their other releases. However, the reason why it's ranked so low is that the production ultimately suffered as a result. Old Record definitely fixes some of the problems present here!

Heartless is a great heavy opener for the album, and You Had Me At Hello is a really nostalgic, charming track that comes near the end. You also have bangers like You Should Have Killed Me When You Had The Chance!

As a whole, I think this album definitely stands out as one of their most authentic works to date!

Favorite Song: Your Way With Words Is Through Silence (2nd is A Second Glance)

6. Big Ole Album Vol. 1 (2025)

There's something about this album in particular that feels really fun to listen to, and the songs here feel like something you would blast while on a road trip.

It does have a modernized sound, similar to You're Welcome, but it does it in a way that doesn't feel as forced, but more natural. This record has absolutely one of my favorite album covers ever because it pays homage to everyone who contributed in some shape or form to the record, which I think is an absolutely sick thing to do.

The songs here have a more consistent flow, and every song here feels energetic and fast-paced, while still feeling new and fresh.

Big Ole Album Vol 1 is a really great big ole album, and I can't wait to see what ADTR has in store for Vol 2!

Favorite Song: All My Friends (2nd fav is Flowers)

5. Bad Vibrations (2016)

I mean this literally, but man, what an album.

This is definitely one of their more consistently heavy records, and for that reason, it holds up pretty well. The production is very modern compared to the records that came before, but similarly to Big Ole Album Vol 1, it definitely elevates the tracks here.

Naivety, Paranoia, Reassemble, and Negative Spaces (ironically, the 4th song named Negative Spaces I've ever listened to xD) are all great additions and showcase the hardcore intensity that the band has long been known for.

Ultimately, this record is one for the history books!

Favorite Song: Bad Vibrations

4. For Those Who Have Heart (2007)

This album is one of ADTR's most timeless works, in my opinion! Coming in as their second studio release, this landmark album definitely brought the band to the next level and has been widely praised for years, and rightfully so. I really love the way this album blends heavy metalcore with melodic pop-punk, and the transitions within the tracks are seamless. It's such an enjoyable album from start to finish and really laid the foundation for what would be named the "easycore" sub-genre in the scene.

This is an absolutely insane 2nd record to have, with bangers of tracks like Speak of the Devil and The Danger in Staring A Fire. One of my personal favorite songs that was added as a bonus track, the Since U Been Gone cover, is a classic!

Favorite Song: The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle (2nd fav is Colder Than My Heart)

3. Common Courtesy (2013)

The story behind this record is special because the band self-released the entire album after years of record label issues. And for whatever reason, this album goes absolutely hard. The band intended this album to represent where they had been and where they were going, and it does just that.

City of Ocala, followed by Right Back At It Again, and then Sometimes You're the Hammer serve as three great opening tracks. In fact, you can tell how much this album meant to them in every single song, and you can tell they had an absolute blast making it. Although in retrospect, Jeremy mentioned how the process of creating this album was grueling for everyone involved (especially with all the legal battles), everything in this album still holds up insanely well.

Kudos to the band for releasing one AMAZING record!

Favorite Song: I'm Already Gone

2. What Separates Me From You (2010)

My GOD, do I love this album. Right from the opening track, Sticks & Bricks, Jeremy's vocals are absolutely INSANE.

This album features some of the band's best songs, like 2nd Sucks (a MONSTER of a track), You Be Tails I'll Be Sonic, All Signs Point to Lauderdale, and more! Of course, All I Want is an iconic song and has one of my FAVORITE music videos of all time. I don't know what else to say about this record that hasn't already been said!

Just a really, really solid album that I hope will be remembered for generations to come.

Favorite Song: All Signs Point to Lauderdale (but All I Want's music video is iconic, so I'm putting it here as well)

1. Homesick (2009)

Da da da da da...LET'S GO!!

In my opinion, this is no doubt the best album ADTR has ever released. Just...what a masterpiece. You have the band's most iconic (and commercially successful) tracks here: Downfall of Us All, My Life's for Hire, I'm Made of Wax, Mr. Highway's, and so much more.

This album pioneered the easycore genre, and it was a landmark record that fused metalcore with pop-punk elements in a way that brought this kind of music to a whole new generation. I just can't put into words how much I personally love this album, and it still holds up nearly two decades later!

Favorite Song: If It Means A Lot To You
