HELLO, ONCE AGAIN! >:3
I know this might be a little weird-ish... but I experienced a little discovery. During my middle school days, specifically around 5th to 6th grade, I was having weird feelings. You know that feeling when you feel attracted by someone? Basically... that. Not only towards guys, but also girls! It was like... sudden.
I ignored it afterwards but when high school began? That was when shit hit the fan. In 8th grade, I discovered a sexuality called "Demisexual". I slowly embraced it but my dumbass didn't realize that being a demi means feeling "sexual attraction only after forming a deep emotional bond with someone".
Listen... this was like a long time ago & I did not know the meaning behind it until I Google searched it. But then, another wave hit me once again. It started off with a few colors to draw on a paper; pink, yellow, & blue. I didn't think of it that much until I sent one to my classmate. That was when I discovered an another sexuality; "Pansexual". When I searched it, it means a person having feelings for someone REGARDLESS of their gender.
And after I processed the information, everything finally made sense! The strange attraction to my classmates, boy or girl, it was slowly connecting the pieces. However... this secrecy would not last very long.
On one fateful day, me & my family were in the mall to hang out & buy new clothes. When me & my uncle went to a clothing store, that was when everything went loose. He confronted me about my secrecy, which turned out my grandmother heard it from one of my ramblings & SOMEHOW, managed to tell it to him. He said words that I will never forget.
"You are not Pansexual. You are a girl & you'll be one."
At that moment, I felt a strange feeling in my chest. I felt... hurt. I thought that my family would support it but somehow... religion says otherwise. My family were Catholic because after all, the Philippines was a Catholic country. That was when realization hit me. My family wouldn't really support me in... that way.
Another incident took around June 18, 2022. Me & my uncle were invited to a birthday party from my cousin. While the celebration rambled on, my uncle confronted me once again. 'Oh, God. What now?' I thought as I remembered the previous incident. Then, he showed my phone. I was confused at first but the moment he opened it & showed me the notifications, my heart instantly dropped.
Holy shit. He found the LGBT servers that I previously joined in Discord.
Ah, yes. Freezing on the outside, panicking in the inside. He then said shit that I'm not pansexual, I'm not one of them, it would make me crazy... what the absolute fuck did they even do to deserve THAT hate? In the aftermath, I ranted it to my classmate & immediately remembered the next day. I still remember it until now.
At this year, these memories still linger on my mind. Sure, I still have more to discovery about my sexuality, but I don't get the hate towards the LGBT Community. They're just being themselves, what's wrong with them being... them? It's just... so stupid & so dumb, all because of a sexuality.
"Oh no, being Gay is a sin!"
"Boys can't do that, boys can't do this!"
"You will go to hell if you do that."
"Girls can't do that, girls can't do this!"
"There's only two genders!"
"Being Gay is illegal!"
Can you stop with the homophobic, transphobic, biphobic, queerphobic, panphobic, demiphobic, lesbophobic, bigotry, condemning, & discriminatory bullshit? It's exhausting & mentally draining. Sure, that's your opinion but you can't just force you beliefs on someone just because they have different opinions! And definitely not to the point it turns into an actual crime! Also, God told us to love one another! "Love thy neighbor", not "hate thy neighbor" BECAUSE of a sexuality.

Whoever reads this rant, thanks for reading it. This is all based on a true story that I experienced. Love you.
