re: manic street preachers documentaries

ive recently been watching a few interviews and documentaries about the time between '94 to '96 for the manic street preachers, and ive found their ability to carry on after tragedy really admirable

its obvious that they all cared so deeply for eachother, and that richey edwards' disappearance really really affected them, but they were still able to keep his vision alive through everything must go

one documentary that im watching at the moment, has a really great line in it about A Design For Life, which was one of the songs they wrote first after richey disappeared (i think, correct me if im wrong). terri hall, press officer, said "it drew a line under the painful period, and nodded towards a future. and a future without people we loved but a future nonetheless".

i also really liked the comment made just after this, regarding an N.M.E. journalist, where james said "its not a ballad, you fucking dickhead" lol

heres the youtube link if ur interested in watching it,

thanks for reading!! this is my first blog post so sorry if somethings wrong
