re: new strokes & charli xcx albums!!

"yesterday was HUGE for bisexuals"- a sentiment i have heard a LOT, but why you may ask? well its simple!! 

new albums from charli xcx & the strokes!!!

now do i agree with the stereotype presented? no. was i excited? yes. i havent been listening to either artist for that long, but i loved each albums singles and the last strokes record was GREAT!! reality awaits' going shopping is such a fun song, and falling out of love (while not being a great single), fits really well into the album. music, fashion, films' rock music is also really fun, and i love how sarcastic it is. i love how ss26 looks at the industries that the albums title includes, and how artists are sometimes defined by their aesthetics. wink wink is also a really sarcastic song, & is also really fun 😁(im not great at describing songs)

iven not listened to the full albums enough, but atm my favorite songs are:

reality awaits: dine n' dash, going shopping, going to babble on

music, fashion, film: card declined, ss26, nobody lasts forever (itd be a great song for a locked groove, not sure if they did do that tho)

im not sure if ill buy them both on cd, but im definitely going to listen to them more!!!
