Reasons why I love Midwest Emo as a Music Genre.

TW: Depresive Lyrics, some curse words.

I discover this music genre when a friend of mine reccomend me an album called ¨Masked Dancers: Concern in So Many Things You Forget Where You Are¨ By The Brave Little Abacus. I listen to that full album and it amaze me. The raw (and untrained) vocals of the singer, the fast riffs, the emotion of the lyrics, I loved everyting of it!!

So, I started listen to more of it. EP's and Albums. Some bands like: Snowing, Midwest Pen Pals, Glocca Morra, Oakwood, Marietta, and some spanish ones like Cataratas en Siberia, tchang!, Boys Kissing Boys and a few others.

I really love this music genre, every inch of it. The lyrics are the saddest and the most depressing shit you can hear and read. TW! Failure relationships, consume of alcohol, smoking, dead family members, skating, all of this genre sounds like a broken teenager days, and I fucking love it.
