RG406V has the absolute beefiest battery

i got my little anbernic guy a little over a year ago now and i’ve been playing with it a lot. i fucking love this thing. today i took it with me to work for the first time because if there aren’t any customers the managers don’t care if you sit on your phone the entire shift, they’re really chill about it (we don’t get paid anywhere near enough to work hard anyway). i played earthbound on my snes emulator for literally 5 hours, minus the time i spent helping customers. 5 basically consecutive hours. and it went from 100% down to 81%

EIGHTY-ONE PERCENT????? goddamnnn

now if i was playing san andreas or god of war 2 or something, yeah it’d maybe be around 40% instead. but considering the games i usually prefer to play, i could literally use this thing for almost a week without having to charge it. and ever since i switched my launcher to daijishō and changed a couple of the emulators i use everything runs smooth as butter. 

idk i just wanted to make an appreciation post for this thing it’s one of my favorite pieces of tech i’ve ever bought for myself in my entire life. if i was objectum i’d be in love with it (one of my alters is but not for our 406 lol). peak gaming technology is fitting every single retro game i’ve ever enjoyed in my pocket with buttons and joysticks that actually feel good to handle and not like little plastic pieces of shit
