I just saw a tiktok of a goth girly with wings, her wings are so pretty man and they're structured so well, idk if she made them but still they're so pretty, my wings for my angel costume don't look like that, they look so sad compared to hers, they're not even done yet, and her wings aren't even close to my goal for my wings, but they're so much cooler, I'm sad now, I'm so close to crying about this if I think about it too long, I know it's stupid to compare the two but I can't help it, I'm sure once I finish mine I'll be happy with them, but rn I'm sad :(

you are there thinking "wow... her wings look better than mine" but im here "wow... this person is making a costume with wings?? i wish i had something cool like that too", sometimes its less about of how good you are at it, and more about doing that thing in the first place, imagine how many people out there dont do their own costumes, the effort and willpower that go into that is already impressive on its own!!

Don’t worry, practice makes perfect and maybe one day you’ll make wings even better than the ones you saw!! But even if you don’t I’m sure the wings you are making are already amazing and you sound be proud of yourself because I’m proud of you :)
