Shit music analysis

Relistening to the God of War Ragnarök soundtrack (specifically... god of war ft. Eivør) and I really need to talk about a part of it lol.

It's mostly about Faye's song and Atreus' theme playing alongside Kratos' theme.

I feel like it really shows who Kratos is at heart. A family man.

I mean come on, the only reason the previous games even happened was because of Kratos' family, right? Alongside with Pandora... he really just loves being a dad. So when I listened to God of War after finishing the game, I was honestly moved to tears afterwards.

Faye haunting the narrative(excited for Laufey btw...) with her song being played... Atreus leaving to go find himself and who he really is, but he's not really leaving Kratos behind...

A thing that fucks me up too is how in God of War, the trumpet and voice that represent Atreus and Faye respectively never leave afterwards. You can hear the female voice in the choir(representing Faye's lingering effect on Kratos...), and you can still hear the trumpet playing before fading off(representing Atreus leaving..)

It's a really shitty music analysis, infact I didn't analyze much of the music at all I guess, but I love doing these anyway. If anyone is interesting in hearing more shit music analysis like this, I do have one regarding Disco Elysium's soundtrack and Ramattra/Null Sector's theme from overwatch.
