i don't think ill pick up on season two of whatever that slop adi shankar created. genuinely okay, at first i didn't think it was so bad. it wasn't. really. it started to pivot when adi began focusing more on lady rather than dante and being heavily inconsistent with his power scaling and what he's capable of.
which is SUPER annoying because why the fuck is he able to pull off saving multiple people in one scene but then unable to do shit when lady's in the picture.
don't even get me started how they made lady betray dante yet AGAIN even after he helped her and even suggested they maybe be buddies and do some duo shit like this. god she's so annoying.
honestly the demons thing for the netflix version isn't.. that bad but still is very questionable. considering the original lore when demons generally are ruthless and once were trying to take over humanity hello 💔 before sparda stepped in and sealed them away.
speaking of season two, why im not picking it up? another reason is literally i don't wanna see dante and lady kissing. gods no. i don't hate danlady but the chemistry between these two IN THIS SPECIFIC show is atrocious. next thing i know they're gonna have a baby named nero and that will be my biggest nightmare.
just. please let this show end. im so done seeing it being promoted and having some fans unable to accept that the show is actively ruining how some fans perceive these characters. like they're genuinely well written and well done, not just watered down to simple stereotypes like dante being a silly woohoo pizza dude or lady being a rageful woman with daddy issues and a vendetta against demons. like they're so much more than that omfg.
some fans have to pick up the games (or at least watch the gameplay, smh) and the novels...
