Should i apply to university

I genuinely don't know about it like I'm in tech school rn for welding and really the only reason I'm doing that is because I don't have to pay for schooling for it and honestly the job pays well in my opinion but I don't necessarily want to do it. To be fair I don't reeeally want to do anything I mean who wants to work for the rest of their life. In a way I do want to go to university I want to have the experience of being able to learn and live in a dorm and make friends and just experience life as a university student in general. 

I wish secondary schooling was free because that's genuinely the only thing stopping me from applying immediately. 

If I did go to university I don't even know what I'd study tbh because like I'd want to sturdy EVERYTHING well everything except english I'm horrible and gathering my thoughts into words and creating actual essays and papers. Astrophysics or physics in general interest me or like astronomy or math or engineering genuinely I wish I could study everything at least once. I'd love to study medicine too. Ive thought about wanting to become an ED doctor a couple times actually. 

I don't know if its possible for me though I mean I don't have the best grades or test scores like I think my weighted gpa is like a 3.6 or smth like that and my sat score was like a 1100. Those are like barely average I'm pretty sure so I doubt I'd be able to get a scholarship based on that and I definitely can't afford to pay for tuition.
