should i dye my hair

so last year i dyed my hair a really pretty shade of dark red but this one popular girl did it like two milliseconds before me so she made a rounor that i was copying her and was obsessed with her or sumthin... she was weird anyways now im scared to dye my hair again because the bullying got to bad that now i have my regular poopy brown hair. :( but recently i've been wanting to dye it blue black, like really dark blue. i don't know if it would turn out green or fade too much, so does anyone have any ideas if so please lmk! 🦕
