shows and movies feel so boring now

i'm sure there definitely is good stuff being made now, but it doesn't get as much attention. with the rise of streaming media, it seems like companies are forced to pump out slop shows and movies that have fast pacing it feels... a lot of shows i like are pretty modern, but they're also animated which is pretty different from live action stuff.. i also do like some more modern movies, but i prefer a lot of somewhat older stuff. but i also appreciate a lot of movies like obsession, and backrooms coming out and being directed by youtubers, it's more of a fresh approach for horror, and hopefully other genres can do the same by branching out more creatively,... (probably won't though, it might just influence hollywood to make a mr beast movie or something)
