I finally watched Sinners the other day, and IT IS SO GOOD. It's visually gorgeous, and the soundtrack, alongside how it's used, are absolutely incredible. I'm a big fan of vampire media, but this film uses that idea in a way I've never seen before. Vampirism and blood-sucking as a metaphor for racism and colonialism, particularly in the context of 1930s America, is, to me, a very inventive and insightful take on the idea. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting something honest and confronting in the best way possible, and also fans of horror and PEAK soundtracks.
