So i watched Blade 2 now... (MORE THOUGHTS)

OK so Blade 1? Very good movie

Blade 2? not so good TvT

So im not really sure why but Blade 2 was very bad compared to the first movie, for SO MANY REASONS

for one, the plot was pretty incoherent. the first movie had a pretty progressive plot with a clear ending, but the second one? not really. the way the second one opens too feels very much like the writers didnt know how to start the plot. like actually felt kinda like how I write stories sometimes, where i know the big main event but not the connector plot points.

also we cant talk about this movie without mentioning the fact that most of it is overdramatic fight scenes that go on WAY to long. Like i kinda get it i the beginning like they're reminding us of how badass Blade is but then they keep doing these overly drawn-out fight scenes and it just gets old.

now i did like some parts of the movie...

ya you probably could've guessed, but i love the Reapers. Like theyre like feral alien vampires and i AM HERE FOR IT. tho i find it kinda funny that the series basically went from magical vampire god rituals to X-file esc hybrid and virus engineering shit. I mean i love it but its such a universe vibe shift TVT

but there are a lot of plot holes in my opinion TvT like what happened to the House of Erebus? Why is there now a new vampire government based in Europe? Why is Whistler still alive? Where the hell did Karen go? WHY DOES ELI LOOK LIKE THAT.

NO cuz seriously wtf is up with Eli like he looks like a literal alien what??? HES SUPPOSED TO BE A PUREBLOOD VAMPIRE. WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE FUCKING VOLDEMORT

also the Bloodpack TvT godamn they are cringe I cant with them.

like this movie? this movie is like a reminder that this series is a marvel series. Like i dont really like marvel stuff and this is why cuz it gets cringe like this. Im not gonna put my poor parents through the third movie after watching this cuz if its like this theyre just gonna be cringed the whole time

So ya needless to say, didnt enjoy this AS much as first movie. I pretty much only enjoyed it cuz of the reapers and the fact that vampires were involved it was plot wise very bad and cringe. Not as bad as ahem... OTHER movies and their incoherent plots and characters with no personality.. but still not great. I might watch it again but the first movie was 10x better (ALSO PLEASE BRING FROST BACKKKKKK)
