honestly, i don’t have much to say about the movie. i saw it a couple days ago with some friends and it was okay, pretty disappointing to say the least. i’m not really gonna dive into anything that happens in the movie, as i don’t really wanna spend that much time. imo, as of now it’s one of, if not the worst tom holland spider-man movie to be released, which isn’t to say that it was awful, just that it doesn’t quite live up to any plot standards set by its predecessors. it was a decent movie; i was kinda "hyped" at times, but it just wasn’t anything special. it mostly serves as an introduction of things, and was kinda boring plot-wise. 6.5/10, probably wouldn’t watch again. i’m only really writing this cause i hate how people are glazing the fuck out of this movie, but it is what it is; they must’ve taken acid before entering the theaters or somethin’

No offense but like, were you paying attention to the storyline at all? It has a pretty deep message, beautiful one at that. I kind of understand what you mean. I love Spider-Man and I loved this movie. It felt like a classic spiderman movie. He was making classic spiderman comments and everything it was amazing. The MJ part kind of disappointed me, not because she didn't remember but idk that whole scene, the way she said some stuff I just didn't like. I feel like she could have handled that a bit better. She was realistic about it but I think she could have been slightly more considerate. It especially bothered me that she just casually asked him for a swing back 😭 ik there wasn't any way for her to get back but like atleast give him a second to take all that in 😭😭
no, my eyes were closed the entire movie, and i was juggling oranges with my pet monkey, while balancing on a comically large red bouncy ball, simultaneously counting back from 100 in intervals of 6. listen, imo the movie was okay. i watched it with my eyes OPEN, and discussed the entire movie with a friend; i've also watched the entire mcu movie-wise so i believe, to a degree, i know what a good mcu movie looks like
