I finally finished giving my profile a fresh overhaul, going all-in on a noisy 70s–80s retro poster aesthetic inspired by YOASOBI. I wanted a layout that felt tactile and full of personality rather than clean and sterile—think paper confetti textures, bold ink borders, and bright pop colors.
The hero section kicks off with a massive shot of the band layered under Japanese display type (夜に駆ける) and a looping logo ticker ribbon. But my favorite detail is definitely the avatar setup. I added an animated, spinning vinyl record right behind the circular profile photo, complete with radial grooves and a floating star sticker so it looks like a custom 12-inch single.
Down the rest of the page, everything uses bright label bars, subtle washi tape accents, and animated equalizer bars for the music player. Building this was a super fun exercise in pushing CSS details, and it’s easily one of my favorite designs so far.![]()
