My heart has been so heavy watching everything happening with the Spokane fires.
Spokane will always feel like home to me, and seeing places I know, places I've driven through, hiked around, and made memories in, covered in smoke is heartbreaking.
More than anything though, my heart goes out to everyone who's been forced to evacuate, everyone who's lost their homes, and everyone sitting there not knowing what tomorrow is going to look like. I can't even imagine how scary that must be.
I'm also thinking about every firefighter, first responder, and volunteer out there, risking everything to protect complete strangers. Thank you will never be enough.
If you're anywhere near the fires, please be safe, listen to evacuation orders, check in on your neighbors if you can, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
Spokane is such a beautiful place, full of amazing people, and I know this community is strong. It's going to take time, but I truly believe you'll get through this.

This is the first time I've heard about what just happend there here.
It's quite sad and I hope things would be somehow good for them in the future.
Have friends who live over there having to evacuate its quite sad 😞
